Effective Society is a physical collective being created in India fueled by the core ideas of Praxis Society (purposeful community), Effective Altruism (effective positive impact) , and the Thiel Fellowship (de-risking the path of entrepreneurship) to create a prominent startup society.
The purpose of Effective Society is to optimize the economic potential of capital in creating positive change in the world. The mechanism for doing this is we are pushing forward is via maximizing altruist founder potential.

India has a massive english speaking population, low costs in labor and housing, good weather, and simple immigration laws making it the perfect place to build an Effective Society.
Our Thesis For A Effective Fellowship Model To Fuel The Startup Society:
The purpose of seed and pre-seed funds is is to drive entrepreneurial growth through providing founders with the economic means to bring their visions to reality. We believe that the current mechanism of bringing founder potential forward can be improved upon by a model which combines the effectiveness of the Thiel Fellowship with community. This model can be thought of as a Founder UBN; referring to covering the basic needs of a founder which would be food, housing, community, mentorship, funding routes, distribution, and more. The model of the Startup Society is to go above and beyond this basic needs and optimize for a STARTUP FOUNDERS needs by acting as a startup studio and using low international labor costs to develop MVP’s and gain traction effectively.

The main difference between a Startup Incubator (aka Startup Studio, Venture Builder, Venture Studio, Venture Factory) and a Startup Society is that a Startup Society is focused on mission and culture first. In this regard we as a Startup Society are focused on creating a physical community where builders can find alignment in their physical lives alongside a focus on doing the most good.
